We’re delighted to welcome bestselling author Emma Gannon for a special evening in conversation with writer and critic Donna Freitas.
This event brings together two sharp, thoughtful voices exploring creativity, work, ambition, relationships, and the many ways we navigate modern life through writing. Together, they’ll discuss Emma’s latest novel Table for One and new release A Year of Nothing, alongside themes that run through her wider body of work — from independence and identity to burnout, self-definition, and choosing alternative paths.
The conversation will also open up to questions about writing across fiction and non-fiction, building a long-term creative career, and how personal experience becomes story. There will be time for audience Q&A, followed by book signing.
