This talk, organized by Clamour BCN, will delve deep into the topic and explore why universal basic income could be a mechanism for guaranteeing basic freedoms in an era of growing inequalities and injustices.
Joining Backstory Bookshop for this conversation will be David Casassas and Julie Wark.
David is an associate professor at the University of Barcelona, where he teaches social and political theory. He was Secretary of the Basic Income Earth Network (BIEN) and is now a member of its International Advisory Board. He is the author of Unconditional Freedom: Universal Basic Income and Social Power.
