Family Sandwich Workshop

Esperança Barcelona is a 100% volunteer-based charity that has been supporting Barcelona’s homeless community with food, clothing, and other essentials since 2013. We believe that involving families, especially younger generations, fosters compassion and inspires them to make a lasting difference in the world.

At the sandwich workshop, we’ll prepare 50 cheese sandwiches and 50 tuna sandwiches, which will be distributed to the homeless later that same day during our Saturday walk. A list of ingredients will be shared in advance, and families can sign up to bring the items they are willing to contribute for the workshop.

The workshop will also include a discussion about Esperança’s mission, how it began, and the many ways families can get involved. We’ll encourage children to share their thoughts about homelessness, what it means, and how we can all contribute to making a difference.
