We’re excited to launch Indie Author Hour, a new monthly Sunday series dedicated to self-published authors, local storytellers, and independent publishing.
Join us for our first edition with Kirana Stover, presenting Mom’s in There — a moving and heartfelt story exploring motherhood, identity, and the many selves we carry through life.

When the author learns of her mother's terminal diagnosis, she returns from Catalunya where she has lived since 1993 to the city in the US where she was born, Richmond VA. Mother and daughter find, re-find, and lose each other in an intimate, poetic portrayal of the end of a life. Paintings by both women provide dimension and respite as we travel with them on a journey we all know about and yet know nothing about. Writing and publishing Mom’s in There is helping Kirana find meaning in her loss. Though personal and unique, the story is…
