At Overheard, you’re encouraged to tell yours. All you have to do is throw your name in the bowl for a chance to be called up to the mic. If your name is called, you’ll stand up to tell a true story in 10 minutes or less based on the night’s theme. 

This month, we’re sharing stories about being in and out of luck. March is the month of St. Patrick’s Day, after all! Have you ever won the lottery? Competed on a game show? Felt lucky to be alive? Maybe you have a lucky charm that you want to tell us about. But don’t worry if you only have bad luck—we want to hear about that, too.
