Few writers have left a more profound footprint upon world literature than William Shakespeare.

Whether you're new to the Bard or have read many of his works, this book club is your opportunity to (re)visit one of the greatest authors in history and to delve into some of the plays you perhaps have not encountered so far. Every session we shall discuss a different work, alternating between the genres of comedy, tragedy, history, and romance.

This month's pick is The Comedy of Errors, provides an opportunity to grapple with Shakespeare at the very beginning of his career. This play is seldom represented but a delightful take on the subject of mistaken identities. Two identical sets of twins, the four of them separated at birth, find themselves in the Greek city of Ephesus, and must respond for each others' actions. Perhaps it's not a play about mistaken…
