Special Storytime - Animals

We’re delighted to introduce Backstory’s Special Storytime Series — a monthly themed storytime designed to bring families together around books, language, and imagination.

Taking place on the first Saturday of each month, these sessions offer a warm, playful space where children can enjoy stories read aloud, explore new ideas, and connect through shared reading. Each month will focus on a gentle theme — from seasons and colours to emotions and friendship — using carefully selected picture books to spark curiosity, conversation, and joy.

This special storytime will focus on different kinds of animals which is universally engaging. It will encourage building vocabulary and using animals as engaging connection point for story-telling. Through lively picture books and interactive moments, children will be encouraged to observe, name, and talk about what they see — all in a relaxed and joyful setting.
