About the event
Do you want to share stories that matter?
In this 6-part workshop series — Stories Alive! — we'll explore storytelling through theater games and creative writing activities.
Inspired by real and imagined stories, you’ll craft and perform your own narratives using performance techniques and multimedia elements. In our final session on November 12th, we'll make our stories come alive in a multi-media performance showcase at Backstory Bookshop.
Meets every Tuesday from 6:30 to 8pm, Oct. 8 to Nov 12. Because the workshop builds on itself over the six weeks — with each week's activities building on the last — students should be able to attend all six sessions.
WHAT: Stories Alive! A writing and performance workshop for kids who want to explore stories that matter.
WHO: Young changemakers ages 11 to 15
