Storytelling Without Screens

Come to a “digital detox” literary spa day! We’ll play some interactive games and explore techniques successful writers use to bring their stories to life. Then, we’ll delve into the alchemy of collaborative storytelling and write our own tales—with a twist! Bring pen, paper, your imagination, and a desire for face-to-face communication without screens!

About the facilitator:

Brent Sverdloff has taught language and literature courses at colleges in the USA. He has told stories at professional conferences and story slams like The Moth, and also served as the Executive Director of an improvisational theater company in San Francisco.
