The Summer I Turned Pretty Finale Watch Party

Calling all Cousins Beach fans! The Backstory team has been religiously binge-watching every Wednesday and now—we can’t face the season 3 finale alone. So we’re throwing open the shop doors after hours for a one-night-only watch party.

We’re longtime fans of Jenny Han, the brilliant author of The Summer I Turned Pretty series—and the powerhouse who also happens to be the screenwriter, executive producer, and showrunner of the show. Watching her stories leap from page to screen has been such a thrill, and we can’t help but keep the books close at hand while we obsess over every new episode. (Yes, the books will be on display for fellow fans who want to dive into the originals or relive Belly’s journey all over again!)

And here’s the fun backstory: Mar and Vic convinced Abbie to start watching, and suddenly we’re getting early-morning texts from our boss confessing she binge-watched two whole seasons overnight…
