About the event
In today's very recent turmoil, power dynamics are shifting, decades old alliances are broken within weeks and parties on the left need to reinvent themselves. (Far) right and dictatorial parties are coming into power again, also in the Western world. US politics is on its head.
In this book club we will -politely- discuss what is happening in the world, using a relevant book as a basis for discussion. The first book for the month of May, is by Anne Applebaum - Autocracy Inc. Discussing a network of autocrats, working together against democracy. Copies will be available.
Although it is recommended to have read the book before attending, it is not (strictly) necessary.
